Good news. I have the mini dv! Yeah! I have the mini dv!
Now I just need to transfer it to a DVD a.s.a.p. There are two places I
am going to contact that offer this particular service, both
nonprofits. The Artists' Television Access and Bay Area Video Coalition.
Let's hope before Monday I'll have this taken care of. I need to contact Canal Alliance with an update of the situation.
Good news #2. I contacted Mark, a fellow classmate and an editor at
Salon.com on behalf of the Switchback editorial team asking him to
participate in an interview on Subjectivity vs. Objectivity (our next
issue's theme). We're contacting a few journalists who are also
creative writers to respond to a short series of questions. Well Mark
is on board. I just sent him the questions.
Tonight I have rehearsal with El Teatro Jornalero!. I need to get a cd
of pictures from our director. I have a lot of pictures of the teatro,
but none from their collaboration with USF for the Doll Hospital
premier. I still need to get all the text files Roberto has so I can
compose the text for the web site.
So much still to do. I need to finish reading two narratives for a
friend and my brother, critiques wanted. Yikes. Gotta make time.
This weekend I have nothing lined up! Yeah. Time to rest and write. That's the plan.
