My (Mis)Adventures at the Post Office

Before heading to the Post Office to mail off my submissions for the Intersection Grant and the National Latino Playwriting Award I double checked that I had followed the stipulated guidelines, included the proper paper work, dotted all my i's, crossed all my t's...you get the idea.

Well, I get up to the counter at the local post office to discover I failed to put any sort of labels on the Intersection packet. Ha. The postman was nice enough to weigh it, give me the proper stamps, which I applied and then promptly opened my package to dig out the mailing address for Intersection.

Now, FYI the Post Office only has flimsy scotch tape that couldn't hold two sub atomic particles together for more than half a minute. So I promptly headed to the nearest Walgreens and bought serious 3M packing tape.

So, they're both in the mail. Remember, always carry your own tape.
