Working From Home: Every Writer's Dream

Today I'm working from home so I can get some serious writing done. One of my responsibilities at my 9-5 is the organization's member newsletter. I have several articles to write. So I'm here in the quiet and undisturbed peace of my flat.

I also want to take advantage of the time to get a little personal writing done. I still have that Bake Off play to write and touch ups on the play for the Latino Playwriting Initiative.

I have a busy week lined up. Friday is Enrique's reading. My good friends Angel and Carrie are coming with me to see the hilarious hijinks that is Learn to Be Latina. Saturday there is a farewell dinner for Alex Davis, one of the USF poets. Alex and his wife are returning to the eastern seaboard. There is a dinner downtown. I need to pick up a gift. I have the perfect one in mind.

Today I need to also send Octavio some work. Must remember to do that.
