So last night I went over the notes from my Sunday meeting with Nakissa and have a laundry list of notes / potential edits to consider. The idea is to look at each note and then make a decision and edit the script accordingly. For example, one of the biggest notes will be that it will get hotter as the play progresses, that the ghost is making it get hotter as she becomes more desperate.
And as we all know heat means irritability, so I have to look at how the characters respond. Plus, if the ghost is in pain, she is "on fire," then how will that affect her dialog. Less poetic, more aggressive is my first thought.
Lots of work to do. But this is good.
