Here's my list of the plays I'm getting ready to go see:
1. Learn To Be Latina. Looks like I'm bringing friends to go see the final show on March 27th. Don't miss out on this hilarious farce by Bay Area playwright Enrique Urueta.
2. ...And Jesus Moonwalks the Mississippi. I'm going to industry night on March 19th and then will be there on the 20th for the launch party, working it with the Cutting Ball staff. I've heard great things about this play by Oakland native Marcus Gardley and I've heard an excerpt--it should be really good.
3. Den of Thieves. My friend Chad is in rehearsals right now for this play and I wanna go out and support him. It's playing at SF Playhouse, no idea when I'll go, but I'm sure drinks will follow.
4. Real Americans. If I can find someone to go with me I'll go. I'm not one for one-person shows, but Danny Hoyle got rave reviews (and awards) for his last one-person show Tings Dey Happen.
