Vanguardia Home Stretch
Vanguardia is a month away!
With that kind of urgency lighting a fire underneath the planning committee we met yesterday to tie up loose ends and figure out what are the last logistical details we’ll need for the festival.
By this weekend all the directors will be hammered down and then we’ll find out if they want us to handle casting or if they’d rather take care of it themselves. Casting itself will be quite a task. Add to that planning the festival party (which we’ll do next week when the entire 10th Anniversary committee meets). And lastly there are the programs, which I’m in charge of. I’m going to ask a favor of a very talented friend who has an expertise in graphic design.
My director and I have already been in communication–remember I was working on Ghost Limb so I could send him a draft of the entire play. I should take another look at my festival scene to see what kind of shape it’s in.
So mark your calendars, folks. August 7th at Cutting Ball Theater: Vanguardia!!-M
